OKTO, a digital payments service provider, has announced the appointment of Edward Chandler as its new Group CEO. Chandler succeeds Filippos Antonopoulos, who will transition to the role of Executive Chairman while remaining OKTO’s controlling shareholder.
Edward Chandler has over three decades of experience in global payments and financial technology. Chandler has held senior positions at Visa, Mastercard and Barclays, focusing on scaling businesses and developing financial technology.
As CEO, he will oversee OKTO’s international operations, the development of its payment solutions and its partnerships in line with the company’s 2030 strategy.
