Thunderkick has launched its content in Finland through a partnership with Veikkaus.
The deal, facilitated by the aggregator EveryMatrix, is a step in Thunderkick’s expansion within the Nordic region and broader European market.
As part of the collaboration, a selection of Thunderkick’s titles, including Esqueleto Explosivo 2, Hot Potato and Midas Golden Touch, will be made available to Finnish players.
This move follows Thunderkick’s recent focus on Denmark, where the company was granted an updated B2B licence in December 2024.
This agreement is part of Thunderkick’s broader strategy, which includes recent commercial deals in other European markets such as Italy and the Netherlands.
Good to know: Founded in 2012, Thunderkick has already provided games to operators such as Bet365, William Hill, LeoVegas and 888 Casino
Svante Sahlström, Thunderkick CCO, stated: “Europe remains an integral part of our growth strategy as we continue to develop our global footprint.
“Finland has been a long-standing target, and by partnering with the renowned operator Veikkaus, we can tap into the potential of an entirely new audience. We look forward to debuting our portfolio in the jurisdiction and have no doubt our content will be a success.”
The partnership comes as Veikkaus prepares for a shifting regulatory landscape, with recent changes including the introduction of new studio Fennica Gaming and updates to its Board of Directors ahead of the end of its rights to online betting and digital casino games in Finland
The deal also follows a trend of partnerships in the European gaming sector, including Tipico’s recent content integration agreement with Zeal.
