Matthew Charlesworth announces new position as Imagine Live CDO

Matthew Charlesworth has announced via Linkedin that he is set to join Imagine Live as the company’s new Chief Development Officer (CDO).
Prior to this latest appointment, Charlesworth held the position of Live Casino Managing Director at Digitain for over a year. Indeed, for a 10-month-stint he was also acting Global CEO of Imagine Live alongside his role at Digitain; however, he stepped back from both respective positions in February 2023.
As specified as part of his post, Charlesworth remained unofficially involved with Imagine Live and will now help to oversee expansion and related development initiatives at the company as part of his formal return.
Having held previous positions at the likes of Coral, bet365, Paddy Power and Entain – alongside his previous CEO experience with Imagine Live – Charlesworth is well-positioned to integrate back into the supplier’s executive team.
Speaking on Linkedin, Charlesworth stated: “Today, I’m excited to formally announce my return as Chief Development Officer – a role that brings me back full-time to the product I love and believe in as well as the people I love working with, but without the day-to-day responsibility of overseeing a rapidly expanding operation and still with extremely aggressive future plans. So just a few more airport lounges for me over the coming months but I’m looking forward to reconnecting with friends, partners, and future collaborators over the coming months.”

More recently, in February, the company furthered its latest phase of European expansion via the confirmation of a new Class II licence for the Romanian market, allowing it to supply its portfolio of live casino offerings within the nation.
