Key points:

- Caesars has launched in-person sports betting at Ko-Kwel Casino Resort | Coos Bay, in partnership with the Coquille Indian Tribe

- The launch coincides with the resort’s 30th anniversary and introduces self-service kiosks offering full college sports wagering

- This is Caesar's first sportsbook operation in Oregon, following recent North American expansion through digital partnerships

Caesars Entertainment has officially entered the Oregon sports betting market through a new partnership with the Coquille Indian Tribe.

The launch took place at the Ko-Kwel Casino Resort | Coos Bay, formerly known as The Mill Casino, coinciding with the resort’s 30th anniversary.

The rollout includes a fleet of Caesars Sportsbook-branded self-service wagering kiosks, giving patrons access to a broad betting menu including player props, live in-play options and futures markets.

This marks the first time Caesars has offered in-person sports betting in Oregon, a state where mobile college sports wagering remains restricted.

Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, said: “Bringing our sports wagering offering to a new jurisdiction for the first time is always significant. We remain committed to supporting Indian gaming and enhancing the guest experience through partnerships like this.”

The new sportsbook facility provides wagering access for customers aged 21 and older, including college sports, which are currently unavailable on Oregon’s statewide mobile platforms.

Good to know: Caesars and the Coquille Indian Tribe both stated their intention to maintain a strong focus on responsible gaming as part of the new operation

Margaret Simpson, CEO of the Coquille Economic Development Corporation, commented: “This partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to advancing gaming opportunities and enhancing guest satisfaction.”

In April 2025, Caesars finalised a content integration deal with EveryMatrix, enabling Caesars players across five US states and Ontario to access new slot titles through the SlotMatrix platform.

In March 2024, Caesars Sportsbook received RG Check accreditation from the Responsible Gambling Council in Ontario.
