Circa Sports is set to open the largest retail sportsbook in Kentucky this summer at The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs in Franklin.
The venue will span over 5,100 square feet and feature an 80-foot-wide LED screen, a 31-foot-wide odds board and premium seating options.
The new 21+ sportsbook will also house a live VSiN (Vegas Stats & Information Network) broadcast studio, offering daily coverage and expert analysis for sports bettors.
VSiN, a Las Vegas-based network, delivers a broad range of content designed to inform betting enthusiasts across multiple sports.
Commenting on the development, CEO of Circa Sports, Derek Stevens, stated: “After operating in Kentucky for a year, introducing a sportsbook of this calibre to the region marks a significant milestone for Circa Sports.
“Along with Kentucky, we're also seeing tremendous excitement from fans in Tennessee – especially in Nashville. Together with The Mint, we’re creating a high-tech betting destination that will bring a new level of live-viewing excitement for customers across both states.
“The Mint has been an exceptional partner in turning this vision into reality, and we look forward to welcoming guests later this year.”
Good to know: Launched in 2019, Circa Sports now operates in five US states: Nevada, Illinois, Iowa, Colorado and Kentucky
The sportsbook will offer five manned betting stations (including an ADA-accessible option), along with four self-service kiosks – three of which will be located within The Mint casino.
Seating will include 113 options ranging from luxury recliners to stadium-style and booth-style arrangements.
This new venue arrives amid booming betting interest in Kentucky, highlighted by the record $349m wagering handle seen during May’s Kentucky Derby.
