- Evoke has announced the opening of a new office in Leeds
- This update sees the company move on from its previous St Johns Center location after 20 years
Evoke has announced the official opening of its new Leeds office, relocating from its previous location in the St Johns Centre to the city’s West Village.
Indeed, this move comes after 20 years at the company’s previous location in Leeds – with the new office set to house 750+ employees from a number of departments.
As part of the new location’s design, Evoke has incorporated a broadcast facility (pictured below) which seeks to allow employees access the company’s streaming content.
Elsewhere, the office is equipped with several meeting and conference rooms, dedicated meeting booths, a central Townhall space and social areas for employees. With the West Village located a ten-minute walk from Leeds Station, employees will also have access to the village’s cafes, shops, bike storage areas and on-site gym.
Another gambling conglomerate closely associated with Leeds is, of course, Flutter Entertainment – who opened an office in the home city of its CEO, Peter Jackson, in 2021.
Good to know: During Q1 2025, Evoke recorded a £437m ($595.2m) revenue figure, up 1% year-on-year
Commenting on the opening of the new office, Evoke Group Chief Information and Technology Officer, Rik Barker, said: “St Johns has been our Leeds home for over two decades, but now is the right time for a change. We are extremely excited to share our plans to create a purpose-built space that better reflects who we are today; collaborative, innovative and forward-looking.
“We’re particularly proud to be introducing a new studio that will open up creative opportunities for our teams and connect even more closely with our audiences, both in-store and online. This is an exciting moment for our colleagues and a further demonstration of our long-term commitment to Leeds.”
