Colombia: Coljuegos promotes legal play in Quindio and sanctions FullReto owner

The Colombian regulator held a territorial outreach session this week in Armenia, Quindío, to promote legal gambling and raise awareness of the risks associated with illegal operations.
The event brought together representatives from the National Police, the Quindío Lottery, licensed operators, local businesses and shop owners.
According to Coljuegos, it has received 180 reports of alleged illegal gambling activity in the Quindío region. The agency reiterated that combatting such practices is vital to preserving public funds for healthcare, which are directly supported by tax revenue from legal gambling.
Luis Alfredo Escobar, Vice President of Operations at Coljuegos, stated: “Coljuegos continues committed to the regions, promoting legality even in the most remote places.”
Police representatives pledged support for continued training and coordination to counter criminal structures that rely on illegal gambling as a source of financing.

In parallel, Coljuegos confirmed that Grupo Vinnare, the former operator of the FullReto betting platform, has begun reimbursing players via fiduciary agent Fiduprevisora.
The initial payout covers 71 users and totals approximately COP 47m ($11,600). The operator’s licence expired in December 2024 and FullReto has not been active since.
