The extended agreement with Kaizen focuses on safer gaming initiatives, while the new partnership with GIS aims to support professional development in the sports industry.
Key points:

– The GIS collaboration targets sports leaders in key markets like the US
– Joint programs have reportedly boosted player confidence in seeking gambling help
Epic Global Solutions has renewed its partnership with Kaizen Gaming and established a new agreement with Global Institute of Sports (GIS).
Kaizen Gaming and Epic have agreed to continue their partnership for a second year after completing their initial one-year agreement.
After what Dave Sproson, Head of Delivery at Epic Global Solutions, described as an “excellent first year,” Kaizen Gaming aimed to further improve its safer gaming practices. Epic supported this effort by providing training for teams in Europe and those managing the Betano brand in Brazil.
In the second year, the partnership will include training, workshops, consultancy and initiatives for more teams globally. Epic will assess training needs, support safer gaming strategies, deliver sessions and prepare evaluation reports.
Grigoria Artsanou, senior learning and development specialist at Kaizen Gaming, said: “Working with Epic has provided our team with valuable, real-world insights that have deepened our understanding of responsible gaming.
Regarding the new partnership with GIS, its goal is to support the professional development of sports industry leaders and promote positive change globally.
After working together on major projects such as the Gambling Harm Prevention in Sport Summit at GIS’ Wembley Stadium facilities in 2023, this collaboration enables Epic to share its expertise with GIS students and professionals, with a particular focus on key markets like the United States and the growing football sector.
Good to know: After sessions with William Hill and Epic Global Solutions, 96% of players felt confident about where to seek help for gambling concerns.
John Millington, SVP Programmes and Delivery at EPIC Global Solutions, said: “Both organisations share similar aspirations on a global scale, especially in the territories where we operate and grow, including the American market and football.”
