Key points:

– Scientific Games has an exclusive licensing agreement with Hasbro and will be collaborating with UK developer Pixiu Gaming

– Battleship and Monopoly lottery games will launch on Scientific Games’ SG Content Hub

The exclusive licensing agreement that Scientific Games secured with Hasbro will see games based on classic Hasbro IP, Monopoly and Battleship coming to the SG Content Hub soon.

The lottery games provider has partnered with a London-based games developer called Pixiu Gaming to develop the new titles.

Tony Plaskow, Pixiu Gaming Co-Founder, said: “We look forward to working with Scientific Games and Hasbro to create exciting, brand-sensitive Monopoly and Battleship-themed iLottery game experiences.”

The announcement follows a flurry of licensing agreements bringing board games to the gambling sector.

Hasbro itself announced numerous such deals in July, while Mattel with its evergreen card game Uno has been getting in on the act with the launch of its Uno Social Club in Las Vegas.

Monopoly games have proved particularly lucrative within the lottery industry – 33 lotteries worldwide offered products themed around the game in 2025, resulting in more than $2bn in retail and digital sales.

Scientific Games shares its portfolio and varied services with 150 lotteries in 50 different countries and often teams up with developer partners to capitalise on its line-up of more than 100 licensed brands, which includes other well-known Hasbro titles such as Yahtzee! and The Game of Life.

Pixiu Gaming is a studio working with licenses in Canadian, US and European markets which specialises in Keno games.

Matt Lynch, President, Digital for Scientific Games shared his excitement at working with the company: “Their unique approach to game development and artistic vision brings a differentiated offering to market that will add depth to iLottery portfolios by expanding game play options for existing players while bringing new game experiences to attract new players.”
