Dave Hammond has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at UK Tote Group.
Hammond formerly worked with UK Tote Group as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), having began in the role with the company in April 2023.
Overall, Hammond has over 20 years of industry experience. Notable points in his career include an almost 10-year stint with Inspired Gaming, begining as a Senior Corporate Account Manager in 2006 and leaving as SVP, Mobile in 2015.
He also spent over two and a half years with Paddy Power as Director of Retail Product & Innovation, and later B2B Director, before taking on other senior roles with SBTech and DraftKings.
In 2018 Hammond founded BetConsultancy.com, staying with the business for three-and-a-half years. He also spent three years as Executive Chairman at Spartos.

The appointment comes soon following UK Tote Group’s extension of its partnership with BetMakers, a deal that is expected to last until 2029.
BetMakers will continue to provide pool wagering systems to UK Tote Group, with CPTO Phil Jones describing BetMakers’ technology as playing a “critical role in how we host and deliver racing pools wagering across 85 racecourses in the UK and Ireland.”
