MGM Resorts names Molino COO and Fritz CCO
Molino will succeed retiring COO Corey Sanders in January 2026, while Fritz assumes his new post immediately, expanding his remit to digital and commercial strategy.
Key points:
– Molino to take over as COO on 1 January 2026 following Corey Sanders’ retirement
– Fritz appointed CCO and President of MGM Digital with immediate effect
– Appointments follow MGM’s continued investment in digital gaming and global expansion
MGM Resorts International has confirmed two senior appointments as part of its ongoing leadership changes. Ayesha Molino will become COO from 1 January 2026, while Gary Fritz has been named CCO and President of MGM Digital, effective immediately.
Molino will replace Corey Sanders, who will retire at the end of December after more than three decades with the company.
Bill Hornbuckle, MGM Resorts President and CEO, said: “Ayesha is an exceptionally gifted strategic thinker and operator who excels at managing through complexity, earning her the respect of her colleagues and peers throughout the company. In fact, under Ayesha’s leadership, ARIA has posted all-time records in EBITDAR, annual revenue, hotel and casino revenue, ADR and Gold+ NPS scores, to name just a few.”
Molino currently serves as President and COO of ARIA and Vdara and has held senior roles in public affairs since joining MGM Resorts in 2017. She also serves as a non-executive director of MGM China Holdings Limited and sits on the boards of several industry associations.

Fritz, previously President of MGM Resorts International Interactive, will now oversee the group’s commercial strategy and digital operations, including BetMGM and LeoVegas.
Hornbuckle said: “Gary has been instrumental in establishing and advancing our digital strategy through acquisitions, strategic partnerships and organic expansion of our BetMGM brand into new international markets like Brazil.”
Fritz has previously held senior roles at Expedia, McKinsey & Company and IAC. He also serves on the boards of BetMGM and LeoVegas.
The appointments come as MGM continues to expand its global footprint while investing heavily in its digital operations. Hornbuckle’s contract as CEO was recently extended through 2028.
