Jorn Starck becomes new AGCC executive director
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) has appointed Jorn Starck as its new executive director.
The promoted Starck succeeds André Wilsenach, who will become executive director at the newly established International Center for Gaming Regulation (ICGR) at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV).
Lord Richard Faulkner, Chairman of the Commission, said: “It was an easy decision to promote from within, and we are confident that under Jorn’s leadership the AGCC will continue from strength to strength.
“Jorn has already over many years been a key player in the AGCC’s success as an e-gambling regulator, and we are excited about this new chapter in the AGCC’s story.”
Starck said: “I am honoured to be offered this position and very excited about the opportunity to lead the AGCC.
“With the strong relationships I already have with industry, government and other stakeholders, together with the support of the Commissioners and a very experienced team around me, I am very confident about the future of Alderney as an e-gambling jurisdiction.”
