SGPN and Colorcast announce sports betting content partnership
The Sports Gambling Podcast Network (SGPN) will bring content to Colorcast, an audio-only, sports broadcasting platform based in Austin, Texas.
Prime time broadcasts from SGPN’s podcast hosts will come to Colorcast’s platform after both parties penned an agreement.
A “social sports talk app,” Colorcast purportedly allows anyone, anywhere and with no equipment to commentate on live events. It also provides stats, scores, betting odds and other real-time information to users.
SGPN, meanwhile, specialises in sports betting content. Under the terms of their partnership, the network will create short-form audio content on topics ranging from “What are the odds the Lakers make the playoffs?” to “Which NFL team will Aaron Rodgers play for in 2022?”
Its flagship programme and namesake, The Sports Gambling Podcast, is hosted by Sean Green and Ryan Kramer, who bring over four decades’ worth of sports gambling experience to a nationwide audience on a weekly basis.
Commenting on SGPN and Colorcast’s partnership, Kramer said: “This is a really special opportunity for our podcast hosts and listeners. We’ve gotten pretty good at talking about odds, props and parlays before and after the game, but with Colorcast, we’ll be able to connect with our audience during the games.
“The existing sports networks are underserving the sports betting market. Fans, casual bettors and sharps all want to know what the betting experts are thinking while the action is unfolding. We’re delivering that experience on Colorcast.”
Colorcast CEO Evan Kirkham added: “The partnership just makes sense. Our community is demanding more and more sports betting content.
