Kansas becomes 17th state for Fanatics Sportsbook

Fanatics Betting and Gaming has launched the Fanatics Sportsbook in yet another state in the US, this time going live in Kansas.

Sports fans living in and visiting the Sunflower State will now be able to download the Fanatics Sportsbook on iOS and Android.

The Fanatics Sportsbook app is now available in 17 states across the US, including Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia and now with this latest news, Kansas.

From August 2023, Fanatics Betting and Gaming began utilising the US operations of PointsBet (which it had acquired) and planning the migration of PointsBet customers to the Fanatics Sportsbook app.

PointsBet customers in Kansas will have their username, password, account balance, rewards points and responsible gaming settings automatically migrated to the Fanatics Sportsbook.

Some of the key features of the Fanatics Sportsbook app include being built natively on iOS and Android, giving customers up to 5% of their wager back in FanCash, a discover page and a search functionality.

This week has also seen the Connecticut Lottery (CLC) open the Fanatics Betting and Gaming Sportsbook in the state, also investing in several upgrades to the other retail sportsbook locations in Connecticut alongside this launch.

In other sports betting news today, Sportradar has agreed a multi-year strategic partnership with Oddin.gg which will see audiovisual streaming of Oddin’s esports content offered to Sportradar’s betting operator clients around the world.
