Merkur Casino Aberdeen celebrates launch of croupier training programme
The initiative, designed to prepare aspiring croupiers for the world of casino gaming, has produced its first cohort of graduates.
Merkur Casino Aberdeen has announced the completion of its inaugural six-week intensive croupier training programme.
Four trainees – Ayodele Ladi-James, Daniel Murray, Megija Jerjomina and Ryan Dale – underwent a rigorous 40-hour-a-week curriculum. The course combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, focusing on popular casino games such as American Roulette and Three Card Poker.
Under the guidance of mentors, participants honed their skills in game management, customer interaction and handling of gaming equipment. The programme also covered other fundamentals, including responsible gambling practices and anti-money laundering procedures.
Additionally, a large emphasis was placed on developing essential soft skills such as communication, attention to detail and customer service.
