BetRivers launches new sports player card game

Key points:

– RSI operated BetRivers has launched a new sports card player game for the NBA

– The game seeks to leverage a growing trend of bettors looking for new ways in which they can bet on basketball

Sportsbook brand BetRivers, operated by Rush Street Interactive (RSI) , has announced the launch of its new sports player card game, PropPacks, for the new NBA season.

The new digital card game is now available to all players via the BetRivers platform and looks to combine the experience of prop bets with that of owning player cards. Players can wager a minimum of $10 to receive up to three PropPacks, containing players from either team, per game. Each PropPack contains a points total of either 20+, 30+, 40+ or 50+ – and bettors can win if their relevant NBA player scores higher than the specified point total on their card.

Prizes increase per threshold, with cards also being split into bronze, silver and gold categories. The top PropPacks prize is $10,000.

An additional recent NBA-related launch was unveiled by Sportradar last week, who is also looking to increase the amount of basketball betting traffic on its platform in partnership with the sport’s top US division.

Good to know: In June, Simplebet reported 75% growth in NBA micro-betting over the course of last season

BetRivers was also the official title sponsor for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash race at Dover Motor Speedway in April. Also in April, the sportsbook entered a new partnership which introduced 1X2 Network the Michigan state market.

Commenting on this latest release, “PropPacks, which is exclusively available on RSI’s platform to BetRivers Sportsbook players, will give NBA fans an additional thrill by offering extra bonus opportunities on their SGP bets.

“The player card game makes watching the action even more exciting by offering bettors at all levels, from those placing a bet for the first time to experienced sports wagerers, more ways to win from existing SGP bets at no additional cost to our bettors.”
