Genius Sports and EchoPoint Media have renewed their partnership ahead of the 2025 Indianapolis 500 race, which is scheduled to take place on 25 May.

This new deal will build upon the data-powered marketing strategies created by both companies in 2024, which led to ticket sales being 45% more efficient than previous benchmarks.

The campaign focused on real-time countdown clocks alongside links to purchase tickets for the race.

Hannah Lane, EchoPoint Media Senior Media Supervisor, said: “After the exceptional results and industry recognition our partnership garnered last year, renewing with Genius Sports was an easy decision.

“Their unique ability to translate complex sports data into tangible marketing results gives us confidence that we’ll continue to connect with passionate racing fans and drive ticket sales for this year’s Indianapolis 500.”

The 2025 Indy 500 will be the 109th race and Josef Newgarden of Team Penske will race as the two-time defending champion

Last month, Genius Sports published its FY2024 report, which included its 38% annual growth in revenue to $175.5m.
