Key points:
– Sportradar has released its preliminary unaudited Q1 2025 financial results
– Revenue, profit and EBITDA are all expected to rise year-on-year
– The supplier’s full results will be released on 12 May
Sportradar has revealed its preliminary financial results for this year’s first quarter, highlighting a revenue figure of between €307m-€311m for the time period.
Indeed, this revenue sum confirms a rise of between 14.3% and 15.6% when compared to the €265.9m generated by the company during the initial quarter of 2024. Elsewhere, adjusted EBITDA reached between €56m- €58m during Q1 2025 – up from the €47.2m posted the year prior, with quarterly profits of between €20m-€24m during this latest quarter also representing a notable year-on-year rise in comparison to the €0.6m loss posted during 2024’s first quarter.
As part of this most recent announcement, Sportradar has confirmed that the release of its full audited Q1 2025 financial results is set for 12 May – with an earnings call scheduled for 8:30am ET.
It was a busy first quarter of the year for Sportradar, with the supplier opening Q1 in January by reporting an official decline in global match fixing activities during 2024. Shortly after, the company unveiled a partnership extension with MLB in the US market – with the pair set to prolong their pre-existing collaboration until 2032.
After also announcing an additional deal with BetMakers and Podium in February, Sportradar was then sued – alongside Genius Sports – by Panda Interactive for alleged antitrust violations.
Good to know: The supplier posted its FY24 financial results in March, highlighting a revenue figure of €1.11bn
As part of its full-year financial announcement, the company also highlighted its intentions to acquire IMG Arena’s sports rights portfolio from Endeavor Group.
More recently, last week, Sportradar extended its ongoing partnership with the Brazilian Football Confederation for the 2025 season.
