Nevada Gaming revenue falls 0.5% in April as Las Vegas Strip declines 2.9%
Washoe and Elko counties post growth, but statewide figures dip for second consecutive month.

Nevada’s statewide gaming revenue fell by 0.5% year-on-year in April 2025 to $1.2bn, continuing the downward trend observed in March when the state posted a 1.1% decline.
The latest data from the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) reveals further pressures on the Las Vegas Strip, which generated $646.9m for the month – a 2.9% decline.
Across Clark County, revenue reached just under $1.1bn, marking a 1.1% increase. However, performance varied by area. Downtown Las Vegas increased its gaming win by 1% to $83.6m, while North Las Vegas and the Boulder Strip grew by 4.4% and 8.1%, respectively.
Washoe County also reported a 4.3% rise to $86.4m, driven by a 9.2% revenue boost in Reno to $64.7m.
Elko County posted a strong performance as well, with gaming win increasing 7.5% to $33.2m. Carson Valley recorded a modest 1.1% gain, generating $11.4m in revenue. In contrast, South Lake Tahoe and North Lake Tahoe saw revenue fall 7.6% and 18.4%, respectively.
Slot machines generated $882.7m in April 2025, down 0.5%, while table game revenue also dropped 0.5% to $351.5m.
Despite the overall decline in land-based revenue, mobile sports betting rose sharply, producing $33.2m – up 35.3%.
Good to know: Basketball wagering led the segment, climbing 51.8% to $20.9m
The state collected $68m in percentage fees for April, representing a 3.2% drop. This follows a steeper 8.3% decline in fee collections reported in March.
April’s figures follow March’s statewide revenue of $1.28bn and a 4.8% drop on the Strip, further highlighting the mixed regional performance across Nevada’s gaming landscape as 2025 unfolds.
