Underdog has partnered with Sportradar to integrate the sports data supplier’s Bettor Sense tool into its sports betting ecosystem.
Bettor Sense is an AI-powered identification tool that can spot high-risk players. As identifying problematic behaviour patterns among players, Bettor Sense can also be utilised to point players in the direction of care services, including Birches Health. It marks the first time the safer gambling tool has been integrated in the US.
By utilising Bettor Sense, Underdog will be able to take a proactive approach to player protection, with personalised interventions designed for the unique circumstances facing each problem gambler. The AI has been trained using responsible gaming and behaviour research, and will continue to improve and learn as it is used. It can create real-time risk scores, analyse player profiles and more, yet remains compliant with regulatory standards.

The move follows soon after Sportradar announced its expanded partnership with Bundesliga, which will allow the provider to utilise the league’s proprietary tracking data to bolster its live player markets to clients.
