About Playtech

Founded in Tartu, Estonia, by Teddy Sagi in 1999, Playtech has evolved from a casino software developer into a global technology giant. It launched its first casino product in 2001, and it was publicly listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2006.

Over the years, Playtech expanded to over 40 regulated jurisdictions and opened offices in 20 countries. Major milestones in its almost-three-decade history include:

  • Launching the iPoker network in 2004
