The South Korean foreign-only operator reported October sales of KRW11.11bn ($9.8m), compared to the KRW9.41bn total in September.
The latest figure does, however, represent a 70% year-on-year decrease from the KRW36.45bn tally reported for October 2019.
Operators throughout the country continue to be severely impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, with GKL’s casino sales now down 55% year-on-year through the first ten months of 2020.
The company’s total casino sales for this year currently sit at KRW180.54bn, compared to KRW396.58bn for the same period in 2019.
Following two straight months of decline, the latest figures included a 22% increase in slot machine sales, as well as a 17% rise in table game sales.
GKL is a subsidiary of the Korea Tourism Organisation, an affiliation of South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The firm operates three foreign-only casinos under its Seven Luck brand, two in Seoul and one in Busan.
