Greentube adds Eurocoin Interactive ahead of Dutch market entry

Supplier Greentube has acquired Eurocoin Interactive to strengthen its product portfolio as the company approaches entry to the Dutch market.

Greentube adds Eurocoin Interactive ahead of Dutch market entry

The deal will provide Greentube with an eclectic range of Eurocoin’s classic slots, ones which cater to the Dutch market. Slots like, Random Runner, Simply Wild and Club 2000 will eventually be open to Greentube users.

The slots will become available to players when the Dutch online gaming market opens in October later this year, while the acquisition will come into effect this month and Eurocoin Interactive will be renamed Greentube Netherlands.

Michael Bauer, CFO/CGO at Greentube, mentioned that Eurocoin has developed its games for the online market. Therefore, the decision to obtain Eurocoin made sense as its portfolio was seen as a stronger fit than the land-based Novomatic Netherlands.

Bauer added: “We are very happy to welcome Eurocoin Interactive to the Greentube Group as we always aim to have a strong portfolio of games that are known to the local players.

“We will come up with a strong line-up of classic Dutch games, in addition to the Novomatic blue chips and our internal productions as soon as the regulated market opens at the start of October.”

Reg Das, Eurocoin Interactive director, said: “When entering this new market, it is key to hit the ground running by providing high-quality, locally tailored games.

“Our acquisition by Greentube further enhances its impressive portfolio, which is one I am confident will be unsurpassed in the Netherlands when the regulated market opens for business later this year.”
