Global Gaming Award winner Sightline Payments partners with Mastercard

Global Gaming Award winner Sightline Payments has signed a partnership with Mastercard to launch Play+ Mastercard, which simplifies the deposit process for players.

The first branded Play+ Mastercard was launched on 24 June 2021 when Resorts World Las Vegas opened. Cardholders can pay for all their gaming and non-gaming activities by syncing the card with their smartphones using either digital wallets or the Resorts World Las Vegas mobile app (built by JoinGo, mobile engagement and loyalty solution of Sightline).

The opening of Resorts World marked the casino gaming industry’s digital transformation by offering a fully cashless experience across the entire integrated resort.

Thanks to this partnership, Play+ enabled customers visiting Resorts World to use their Play+ account across the entire integrated resort without having to carry cash (from slot play, table games, and sports betting to restaurants, retail, and entertainment).

The tokenisation technology used by Mastercard replaces a physical card number with a unique token that can be used only by the merchant who requested it, thus providing additional security to cardholders.
