Maxima Compliance opens office in the Netherlands

Maxima Compliance, a full service regulatory and technical compliance provider for the betting and gaming industry, has opened an office in the Netherlands.

Launched as a joint venture with Gran Via BV, the new office is dedicated to the recently legalised Dutch online gaming sector.

Gran Via BV is a business consulting firm with in-depth Dutch market expertise, aiming to help Maxima Compliance deliver its suite of technical and regulatory compliance services to numerous Netherland-based gaming companies.

Antonio Zanghi, Maxima Compliance CEO, said: “It’s become clear in the short few months since regulated online gaming launched in the Netherlands that only those with a strong handle on compliance requirements will succeed in this exciting new market.

“Maxima Compliance’s Dutch office means we can now provide bespoke and local expertise to operators, and suppliers, in the Netherlands.”

Tom de Bruijn, Co-Founder of Gran Via BV, added: “Since the Netherlands finally launched its regulated online gaming framework last year, the market is quickly developing into one of the most important in Europe.

“Gaming businesses are learning that a deep understanding of local conditions and requirements, particularly when it comes to compliance, is essential.”

Maxima Compliance has also announced a future agreement with Dutch B2B iGaming community Gaming in Holland.

Commenting on the agreement, Willem van Oort, Founder of Gaming in Holland and Gambling Insider contributor, said: “I am very happy to welcome Maxima Compliance to the Netherlands-focused iGaming community.
