Sands China CFO steps down

Toh

SandsMacau
Hup Hock has resigned as CFO and executive vice president of Macau casino operator Sands China Ltd.

A filing to the Hong Kong stock exchange said Toh – who is one of three executive directors at the firm, along with Sheldon Adelson and Robert Goldstein – will stand down in April 2016.

Toh joined the operator in April 2007 and served as senior vice president for finance before he became CFO in November 2009 and joined the board as an executive director the following year.

The firm said: “The company will begin a search process to find a replacement for Toh. He has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the board, and there are no matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the company in respect of his resignation.

“Toh is resigning to pursue other business interests. The Board wishes to take this opportunity to express its gratitude to Toh for his service to the board, the company and the company’s shareholders during his tenure.”
