Sportradar and Bowl Season have entered into a mutually beneficial strategic partnership, assisting one another in their sports betting commercial objectives.

One half of the agreement will see Sportradar act as an advisor to Bowl Season, aiding the latter in its vision to become involved in sports betting, in a “responsible and thoughtful” manner.

On the other side, Bowl Season will increase Sportradar’s involvement in college athletics, furthering the company’s commitment to providing collegiate sports with high-quality data and analytics tools.

Ed Blonk, CCO, Sportradar, commented: “Millions of sports fans look forward to Bowl Season each year. We see untapped potential in the collegiate sports space, and this multi-faceted partnership will help the organisation enhance an already exciting experience for fans and reach a broader audience.”

Bowl Season represents a long-standing tradition of post-season, college football, having taken place for over 100 years. Once restricted to only the very best college football teams across the US, there are now over 40 games as part of the season.

To aid Bowl Season in its objective to further commercialise its brand, Sportradar will identify a number of opportunities for its new partner in the world of sports betting.

The new agreement will also see Sportradar sponsor Bowl Season’s annual meeting, where the sports data and technology provider will educate the organisation about other products offered by the company, such as Integrity Services.

Nick Carparelli, Executive Director, Bowl Season, said: “Sportradar’s expertise in creating immersive experiences for sports fans is a perfect fit for Bowl Season. Sportradar will be a great resource to Bowl Season, playing a major role at our Annual Meeting this coming spring and educating our membership on its wide array of services.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Sportradar and look forward to working closely together.”
