DraftKings Launches Combos, New Fee Structure for Predictions Platform
DraftKings has rolled out Combos, parlay-style event contracts, and a revised fee structure for the DraftKings Predictions platform ahead of the World Cup.
DraftKings has introduced Combos, a new parlay-style event contract feature, and a revised fee structure for its DraftKings Predictions platform, marking the latest expansion of the operator’s push into sports prediction markets.
The operator is offering the combo feature via Crypto.com’s exchange infrastructure, which already offers similar prediction-market combo products.
DraftKings Expands Prediction Market Features
The new feature allows users to combine multiple event contracts into a single “combo” similar to a sportsbook parlay.
Once the user selects multiple trades, their trade slip allows them to combine them into a combo. As with parlays, all trades must settle as winners for the combo to pay out.
Combos can be created by combining up to six trades. Notably, some sports are unavailable for Combos, including tennis and PGA Tour markets. Combos are also unavailable for other event categories, such as elections, crypto, and commodities.
DraftKings Pushes Sportsbook-Style Prediction Products
The rollout comes only days after DraftKings CEO Jason Robins said combo products would launch “in the coming weeks” during the company’s Q1 2026 earnings call.
Robins framed the combos as part of DraftKings’ broader effort to vertically integrate its prediction market ecosystem through its Super App strategy, market-making operations, and upcoming proprietary exchange.
He said:
Our Super App, market-making capabilities, proprietary exchange and combos are coming together ahead of the World Cup.”
DraftKings has increasingly tied Predictions to its expansion strategy, with executives emphasizing during the earnings call that users from states without legal online sports betting account for the majority of Predictions activity.
The company positioned Predictions as a customer acquisition tool outside the traditional state-by-state sportsbook framework.
The addition of Combos is notable because parlays have become some of the most popular and profitable sportsbook products in the U.S. In Q1, DraftKings disclosed that parlay handle mix increased by nearly 300 basis points year over year.
With Combos, the company could be aiming to achieve similar success with prediction market users outside traditional sports betting states.
Beyond Combos, DraftKings has signaled interest in other sportsbook-like prediction market products such as microbetting. Earlier this month, DraftKings President of Operations Paul Liberman said the company expects “faster, more dynamic micro markets” to emerge within sports prediction markets.
DraftKings Introduces New Fee Structure
DraftKings has also introduced a standardized fee schedule for event contracts on the platform.
Under the updated pricing structure, users are charged:
- $0.01 for contracts priced from $0.01 to $0.19
- $0.02 for contracts priced from $0.20 to $0.96
- $0.01 for contracts priced from $0.97 to $0.99
The company states that the fees include “all applicable IB commissions and Exchange Fees.”
DraftKings Accelerates Predictions Investment
DraftKings also disclosed additional growth metrics for the Predictions business during its Q1 earnings call.
Robins said that annualized Predictions consumer volume exceeded $1 billion in April, while annualized total volume traded surpassed $2.3 billion, up 38% and 43% month over month, respectively.
He also said that Predictions’ customer acquisition costs declined by over 80% after it was integrated into the Super App.
Robins revealed that the company expects to invest between $200 million and $300 million into Predictions during 2026, primarily across marketing and product development initiatives.
He told analysts:
Predictions, especially in Sports, is a strategic priority for DraftKings. This category is still in its first inning, and we believe DraftKings is best positioned to define it.”
