David Meltzer joins GameOn board of directors
GameOn Entertainment has announced the appointment of David Meltzer to its board of directors. The move comes as the company looks to focus its efforts on improving profitability.
Meltzer previously served as CEO at the Leigh Steinberg Sports & Entertainment agency and is the Co-Founder of Sports 1 Marketing; he has extensive industry experience and GameOn hopes he will make a significant addition to the boardroom.
GameOn CEO Matt Bailey said: “At a time when we are focused on driving revenue and profitability, an industry veteran like Dave will have an immediate impact on our business.”
Meltzer, who is also a best-selling author and TV series producer, is a recognised business coach and hosts the popular entrepreneur podcast ‘The Playbook.’
“His network and experience in the precise space we are in is second-to-none. Dave is an excellent addition to the team who I’m excited to continue building the future of our company with,” Bailey added.
GameOn went on to announce that director J Moses has stepped down from his role and has assumed a non-board role as a special advisor to the CEO as of 16 June 2022. Moses was appointed as Chairman of the board in February 2021.
Stepping in to replace Moses was Carey Dillen, who assumed the role of Chairwoman on 16 June 2022. GameOn issued a thank you to Moses for his service and “dedication to the company,”before wishing Dillen well, saying it “looks forward to Ms Dillen’s successful transition into her new role.”
