BetMGM & WynnBet confirm Massachusetts launch after state goes live
With Massachusetts launching mobile sports betting from 10 March 2023, US sportsbooks BetMGM and WynnBet have confirmed their entry into the market.
Alongside its sports betting offering, BetMGM will be integrating with MGM Rewards, allowing Massachusetts-based online customers to redeem gameplay rewards for experiences at MGM Resorts properties nationwide.
Such properties include the MGM Grand, Bellagio and Aria in Las Vegas, Borgata in New Jersey, MGM National Harbor in Maryland and Beau Rivage in Mississippi.
The mobile launch of BetMGM in Massachusetts joins the operator’s retail location, BetMGM Sportsbook & Lounge, which opened in January 2023.
BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said: “The debut of sports betting in Massachusetts has delivered an incredible amount of excitement and activity to our retail Sportsbook at MGM Springfield.
“We’re proud to expand our best-in-class wagering experience statewide during one of the sports’ biggest months of action.”
Elsewhere, WynnBet will mark its launch in Massachusetts with a Bet $100, Get $100 sign-up offer, providing bet credits to those who deposit and bet $100.
The operator will provide competition with BetMGM, by also offering its own rewards programme, including experiences at Encore Boston Harbor and Wynn Las Vegas.
