The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery launched in 2009 and has raised more than $1.2bn in proceeds for Arkansian scholarships.
The first iteration of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery app was released in 2015.
The new AR Lottery + Club app will include all of the previous app’s features, as well as a new biometric login feature for improved security.
It will also have a ticket checker feature, which will allow players to quickly check whether their ticket is a winner.
Mike Smith, Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Gaming Director, said: "The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery wanted to offer our players a modern experience and convenient, easy connection to our games and loyalty club from their mobile device.
“With the new app, players verify tickets easily with the ticket checker and create digital playslips from the convenience of their phone."
In 2009, Scientific Games and the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery debuted a lottery loyalty programme in the US.
Players can redeem points from this programme at the Scientific Games online store.
They will also be able to access The Club and play the instant ticket games available there.
