Fun88 has signed a new deal to become Newcastle United’s official Asian betting partner.
Since establishing itself as the club’s main sponsor from the beginning of the 2017/18 season, the Fun88 logo has been featured on the Newcastle United play and training kits for the past six seasons.
The multi-year deal will be active from the 2023/2024 season onwards.
Newcastle United will offer in-market initiatives, official club merchandise and VIP experiences to players in Asia through Fun88 as part of their growth strategy.
On its Twitter account, Newcastle United wrote: “Thank you Fun88 for your incredible support over the last six seasons.
“We look forward to continuing working with you as our Official Asian Betting Partner.”
Founded in 2009, Fun88 is an online sports betting and online casino company, with strong market presence in Asia and Latin America.
Since its launch, Fun88 has partnered with a few different Premier League teams alongside Newcastle United, including Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley.
The sports betting company has also signed deals with a number of individual athletes as well as companies.
In 2019, it signed NBA player Kobe Bryant as a brand ambassador, who would join Steve Nash and Robbie Fowler as notable names who had represented the brand.
