Altenar has expanded its presence in Bulgaria by agreeing a new deal with Palms Bet.
The deal will see Altenar provide its sports betting platform to Palms Bet alongside its esports and virtual selections.
Palms Bet currently offers 20,000 sporting events to players across Bulgaria, in a rapidly growing market which is estimated to be worth €850m ($928.9m) by 2026 – up €600m in six years.
Commenting on the deal, George Mavridis, Account Manager at Altenar, said: “We have always discussed how significant Bulgaria is to us and we are thrilled to continue growing in this new market with Palms Bet.
“We were delighted to launch in Kenya and Peru earlier this year together, and we know Bulgaria is full of potential. We look forward to helping our partners maximise their customer engagement, as well as continued expansion alongside Palms Bet.”
Meanwhile, Alexander Sjarov, Chief Sports Betting Officer at Palms Bet, added: “By integrating Altenar into our platform, we are confident that we will enhance player engagement and solidify our position as one of the leading gaming companies worldwide.”
Palms Bet and Altenar have partnered in other markets across Europe and Africa, with this new partnership expanding the existing relationship.
Earlier this year, Altenar made its debut in the Bulgarian market with BetMarket.
Hristo Markov, Product Manager at BetMarket, said of the deal: “Partnering with a truly established sportsbook and casino offering such as Altenar’s is a massive step forward for us. This will propel us to new heights and we are sure our players are thrilled to be able to access Altenar’s world-leading products.”
