Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI) has revealed that its new COO is an AI called Jarvis – a statement that may have Disney’s copyright lawyers sitting upright in expensive leather chairs!

The move comes as other companies in and out of the gambling sphere have appointed AI’s as C-level executives. However, for QCI, the move is on brand as it specialises in generative AI.

Jarvis will be responsible for the company’s project management, task escalation and has access to the CEO’s emails – as well as Tony Stark’s, obviously.

Jarvis speaks to four target operational systems and will bring ‘deep operational experience,’ according to QCI.

Dr. Ralph Thomas, CEO of QCI said of the move: "Our growth is enabled by generative AI, this democratises our company by allowing organisation and management skills to be facilitated, thus empowering our team members and removing the need for an additional management layer.

“Jarvis is at the center of our system and his interface provides for a single view to all systems running the QCI business. This arms our team members with algorithm-driven analysis of issues and challenges and gives them the tools to reach a quick and efficient resolution."

Whether or not Disney’s aforementioned lawyers choose to hit QCI with a lawsuit over the name of the AI now operating as its COO remains to be seen; although, if this is going the way of the movies, surely we can all expect Jarvis to gain a body and call itself Vision – which may only serve to worry people like Elon Musk further.
