The eCommerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA) organisation has awarded WinSpirit with its certification for fairness and security.
Launched in 2003, eCOGRA is an inspection, testing and certification company that specialises in the transparency and fairness of online gaming services.
It is approved as a designated certification entity across international markets, including the UK, Sweden and Ontario, Canada.
A spokesperson for WinSpirit stated: “With this certification, WinSpirit sends a strong message to its players that the casino is committed to providing secure and responsible gaming experiences.
“Players can have the assurance that their gambling funds and personal information is safe, and be confident that the games are fair and adhere to the rules, making them more enjoyable and rewarding.
“WinSpirit can now proudly display the agency's seal on its website as a symbol of reliability and trustworthiness.”
The WinSpirit online casino platform currently offers 2,500+ titles, including virtual slot games, table games, megaways, live casino opportunities and a sports section.
There are currently two eCOGRA seals that companies can be awarded for their commitment to safety and trustworthiness.
The first, the eCOGRA Safe and Fair Seal, is awarded to online gaming operators that comply with eCOGRA’s Generally Accepted Practices (eGAP).
This covers responsible operator behaviour, fair gaming and player protection.
The second award is the eCOGRA Certified Software Seal, which is given to software suppliers that can prove eGAP requirements are met, especially in regards to internal controls and security.
