Flutter Entertainment has announced that Mary Turner will step down from the Board as Non-Executive Director on 30 September 2023.

Currently, Turner is the Corporate Director and Chair of the Workforce Engagement Committee at Flutter Entertainment, roles that she assumed in May 2020 and June 2021 respectively.

Prior to her position at Flutter, Turner was the Corporate Director at Mackenzie Financial Corporation for over two decades.

Turner will be succeeded by Nancy Cruickshank, who will take on the role of Chair of the Workforce Engagement Committee, effective 1 October 2023.

Turner doesn’t mark the only change to the Board of Directors at Flutter, as it was announced that Gary McGann would be stepping as Chairman last week, a role he held since 2015.

John Bryant was appointed as the new Chair of the Flutter Board and Chair of the Nomination Committee, effective 1 September.

Bryant, Flutter Chairman, said: "I wish to take this opportunity to thank Mary for her exceptional contribution to the Board. We wish her well for the future."

Cruickshank is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board at Flutter.

As well as her position at Flutter, Cruickshank is the Chair at Go City, an Operating Partner at Exponent PE and also a member of the Board at In The Style Group, Oodle Car Finance and Allegro.

During its H1 reports, Flutter announced that while it had hit a four-year high of £4.8bn ($6.12bn), this was also accompanied by a net debt of £4.63bn.
