Tipico, a German-based sports betting provider across both retail outlets and online sites, has partnered with SonioID for its customer verification technology.
Tipico will integrate the user identity verification software from SonioID into its products, which will be used during the customer onboarding process.
These include Know Your Customer (KYC) processes such as passport identification, PSd2, Liveness and PEP checks.
The checks are compiled into a single Identity as a Service (IDaaS) solution, optimising the experience for users trying to join the operator.

This announcement comes only a few days after the Tipico Sportsbook revealed its new campaign for its NFL and college football season.
