This leadership shift comes after allegations that Sibella violated company policies and the terms of his employment. Peter LaVoie, the company's CFO, has been appointed as the new President.

Sibella had been at the helm of Resorts World Las Vegas since before the opening of the 3,500-room resort in June 2021. He had previously served as the President of MGM Grand Las Vegas for eight years.

The nature of Sibella's alleged violations is unclear, and Resorts World has declined to comment further. However, the company has stated that it takes all allegations of misconduct seriously and is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards.

LaVoie has over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry and has held various financial positions at MGM Resorts International. It is expected of him to bring stability and renewed direction to Resorts World Las Vegas as it navigates this unexpected leadership transition.

The leadership change at Resorts World Las Vegas is a significant development in the Las Vegas gaming industry. The resort is one of the newest and most luxurious on the Strip, and it has been well-received by both visitors and locals alike.

It remains to be seen how the leadership change will impact the resort's operations and success, but it is clear that Resorts World is committed to maintaining its high standards.
