ne operator 32Red has posted total net gaming revenue of £30.4m for the first six months of 2016.
This represents an increase of 63% on the £18.6m reported for the first half of 2015.
The operator has attributed this rise to the “organic growth in our core business”, alongside increased investment in marketing initiatives and the contribution of the Roxy Palace online casino, acquired by 32Red in an £8.4m deal in July last year.
The core 32Red business experienced a year-on-year net revenue rise of 32% to £23.5m for H1, while the Italy-facing side of business saw a 33% rise in net revenue to £1.1m, for a total of £24.6m.
Roxy Palace contributed £5.8m to the £30.4m total net revenue.
32Red CEO Ed Ware said: “I am delighted to report another record revenue performance for 32Red in the first half of 2016.
“This reflects the core strengths of the business: Our strong brands, first class customer service and marketing expertise.
“Our excellent growth was achieved despite a very active sports market towards the end of the period coinciding with the European football championships.
“This demonstrates the appeal of 32Red brands and customer experience as well as the opportunities ahead for 32Red to deliver further growth as we exploit marketing opportunities.”
