Intralot has announced a one-year extension to its contract with OPAP, regarding numerical games, until 2026.
OPAP is a Greek gaming operator and Intralot is a solutions provider.
The agreement has been extended from 1 August 2025 until 31 July 2026.
The extension of their agreement grants OPAP the provision of the licence of Intralot’s LotosX lottery engine software and the development of all related functionalities.
Additionally, the two companies have further agreed to grant OPAP the right to exercise two more one-year extension options.
In 2021, Intralot announced an extension of its contract with OPAP for the provision of numerical lottery products and services. The extension begun in August 2021 and ceased in July 2023, before being extended further.
Intralot launched its LotosX product back in 2019.
This year, Interblock has extended its partnership with Wyoming Lottery until 2034; the company also secured a decade-long lottery deal with Taiwan’s Public Welfare Lottery. The deal will see Intralot’s LotRich provide its technology and support in Taiwan for the next 10 years.
Additionally, Intralot teamed up with NeoGames earlier this year to launch NeoGames’ iLottery and sports betting solution in Brazil with Intralot do Brasil. LotoMinas will be the start of a multi-year turnkey project with local Brazilian lottery operator, Loteria Mineira. It will be the official lottery of Minas Gerais, one of Brazil’s largest states.
During its H1 2023 report, back in August, Interblock’s revenue fell by 14% annually and its gross gaming revenue also dropped by 3% when compared to the same period in 2022.
