Caesars Rewards could be open to claims for compensation, following its previously reported significant ‘digital break-in.’

The breach, which took place earlier this year, has reportedly affected over 65 million of its members. The breach has exposed sensitive information including names, birth dates, driver's licence information, Social Security Numbers and other government-issued ID details.

In response to this, Levi Korsinsky, LLP has begun an investigation to determine whether affected customers may be entitled to compensation. A link has been sent to those who have been affected so that they can explore the possibility of remuneration.

The investigation aims to both shed light on the damage caused by the breach and assess liability on the part of Caesars Entertainment.

The law firm stresses the seriousness of data breaches, notably the potential for long-term damage as hackers are likely to exploit stolen personal information for various unlawful activities such as financial fraud and identity theft. Anyone who received a data breach notification from Caesars is considered affected.

Levi Korsinsky, a consumer advocacy law firm, with a track record of recovering substantial amounts against major corporations, has been appointed to head the case on a 'no win, no fee' basis.

As the investigation continues to unfold, the affected individuals are encouraged to check the link periodically to learn more about their rights and potential compensation, as well as any updates.

As the investigation continues to progress, those affected by the data breach await further developments. This breach further highlights the ongoing challenges of cybersecurity in this day and age.
