Football watch party with Cliff Avril hosted by Oregon Lottery and DraftKings
The event will feature former Seattle Seahawks player Cliff Avril and coincide with the Seattle Seahawks versus Dallas Cowboys matchup starting at 5:15pm PT.
The Oregon Lottery and DraftKings Sportsbook are teaming up to present a football watch party on 30th November 2023 at The Independent Sports Bar & Grill.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Cliff Avril, engage in prize-winning activities and eligible customers can potentially receive bonus bets.
The event also serves as an opportunity to learn about Oregon’s sole licensed online sports betting offering, DraftKings Sportsbook.
Kerry Hemphill, Oregon Lottery’s sports betting product manager, said: “We’re excited to offer a fun, fan-focused event to celebrate the football season and build on that momentum.”
Oregonians placed more than $27m in wagers on football games in October, according to the Oregon Lottery’s monthly revenue report.
DraftKings Sportsbook stands as Oregon’s only licensed online sports betting platform, providing customers with legal and regulated betting options across various sports leagues.
Oregon Lottery initiated mobile sports betting in October 2019 and entered its collaboration with DraftKings Sportsbook in January 2022.
This event follows recent developments in the sports betting landscape, including DraftKings becoming the featured sportsbook at the Golden Nugget Biloxi, set to open in January 2024.
Moreover, DraftKings recently announced a festive promotion, ‘Holidays On The House’, offering customers a chance to win a share of $5m in casino credits over five weeks.
Furthermore, the Oregon Lottery collaborated with International Game Technology (IGT) in 2022, integrating account-based cashless solutions into over 11,500 video lottery terminals (VLTs). This makes Oregon Lottery the first to introduce VLT player accounts, in an attempt to improve player convenience and security.
