Supplier Hacksaw Gaming has secured a provisional licence in New Jersey, marking its second entry into the US market within a year, and it is partnering with industry giant DraftKings. This expansion follows Hacksaw Gaming's earlier achievement of obtaining a full supplier license in West Virginia.
The collaboration between Hacksaw Gaming and DraftKings includes an agreement that grants DraftKings users exclusivity to Hacksaw's first 10 games in the market for the upcoming two weeks.
Hacksaw Gaming's latest move in New Jersey reflects its strategic initiatives to widen its market presence and distribution channels across the United States. The company’s recent collaboration with Light & Wonder was aimed at distributing gaming content across multiple platforms.
Marcus Cordes, CEO of Hacksaw Gaming, said: "Having secured such a significant presence in the US in 2023 is something we are incredibly proud of. Our hard work takes form in our ever-increasing footprint".
Besides its North American expansion efforts, Hacksaw Gaming has been proactive in forming partnerships to enhance its global footprint. The company recently collaborated with High Flyer Casino, launching its gaming portfolio on the casino's online platform in Ontario.
Additionally, Hacksaw Gaming expanded its global reach by entering into a content agreement with Eurobet Italy, introducing titles like 'Dork Unit' to the Italian gaming market via eurobet.it.
The company's strides in New Jersey come amidst growth within the state's gaming industry, with increases in casino win, internet gaming win and sports wagering gross revenue observed in November 2023. New Jersey's iGaming win surged to $166.8m, surpassing revenue generated by land-based slot machines by 2.3%.
