Raketech Group has welcomed Dalia Turner as its new Chief People Officer (CPO), marking a strategic addition to its management team.
CEO Oskar Mühlbach commented: “I’m excited to welcome Dalia to the Global Senior Management team. With her extensive international experience from global tech companies, in Europe and elsewhere, she brings valuable insights, know-how, networks and strategies to Raketech. I’m very much looking forward to working together with Dalia to ensure Raketech stays attractive to the best talents in the industry while keeping our entrepreneurial culture.”
Turner joins Raketech from Feedzai, where she expanded the team from 300 to over 600 employees. At Feedzai, a company specialising in AI real-time machine learning data science for fraud detection, Turner was in charge of driving growth and organisational development.
Prior to her role at Feedzai, she held positions at Microsoft in Portugal and the APAC region, overseeing people strategy, talent and performance management, leadership development and organisational culture across multiple countries.
During her tenure at Microsoft, Turner served as a business partner for the regional commercial leadership team comprising 1,500 individuals.
In her new role at Raketech, Turner will spearhead strategic HR leadership across the global workforce, with the goal of reinforcing the company’s culture while supporting its growth trajectory.
This hire follows recent changes in Raketech's leadership structure, including board appointments and departures. Marina Andersson and Patrick Jonker were unanimously appointed as members of the Board of Directors during a recent shareholder meeting in Malta.
Andersson has over two decades of corporate development and M&A experience from Stillfront Group and Deloitte. Jonker has experience in international casino and sports betting operations from senior roles at Betsson Group and William Hill.
These appointments followed the resignations of Pierre Cadena and Johan Svensson in October, with Cadena stepping down immediately from the director role, while Svensson chose to focus solely on his role as CCO for the group.
Raketech's Q1 2023 financial report showcased an all-time high revenue of €15.8m ($17.3m), marking a 24% year-on-year increase. Despite a 123% dip in sports betting revenue, the company reported a 44% surge in casino revenue.
