The deal extends the existing partnership between the two companies, wherein SIS already provides its racing and numbers products to Playtech.
The new arrangement means Playtech will now have access to SIS's complete competitive gaming content library, offering over 150,000 annual events across eBasketball and eSoccer contests.
The end-to-end gaming solution was developed entirely in-house, and it is hoped that this addition to Playtech's content portfolio will bolster its eSports offerings. Each contest will feature live commentary, on-screen graphics and betting prompts to provide a comprehensive experience.
This move aligns with SIS's broader goal to strengthen relationships with top platforms and diversify its offerings. It comes off the back of further integrations that took place throughout 2023, including integrations with Bet365 and Altenar.
Head of Commercial Partnerships at SIS, Andy Kelly, commented: “SIS and Playtech have a longstanding and successful relationship through our racing and numbers products. We are pleased to strengthen this relationship further with the inclusion of SIS Competitive Gaming.
“Playtech customers will now have access to our offering of highly competitive eSoccer and eBasketball contests offering high margins and unbeatable integrity. The product will be launched both online and via Playtech SSBTs to include full data and streaming.”
