Fanatics Betting and Gaming has launched its Fanatics Sportsbook, marking the commencement of legal sports betting in Vermont.
The Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery selected Fanatics Sportsbook, along with two others, to operate mobile sports wagering in the state, bringing the total count of states with the Fanatics Sportsbook to 10.
Recently, Fanatics Betting and Gaming ran a soft launch of its sportsbook in Connecticut, making it the ninth state in which the company has launched.
The Connecticut launch featured both retail and online sports betting, and Fanatics Sportsbook secured an exclusive sports betting partnership with the Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC). The deal covered mobile and retail channels, including the upgrade of retail locations with new branding and self-service betting kiosks.
During the Connecticut launch, Fanatics Sportsbook also became the official odds provider for all CT Lottery sports betting retail kiosks, covering sports such as basketball, hockey, baseball, martial arts and more.
The soft launch in Connecticut included altered hours of operation for the first week and a cap of 2,000 customers for the online platform.
Fanatics Sportsbook features a loyalty program offering FanCash, where customers can receive up to 5% of their wager back. The program allows the earned FanCash to be utilised on bonus bets or merchandise through the Fanatics website.
Furthermore, through a partnership with Genius Sports, Fanatics Sportsbook introduced BetVision, a live sports betting product enabling customers to place bets while live-streaming select NFL games through the app.
