Fanatics Sportsbook soft launches in the state of Connecticut

Fanatics Betting and Gaming has soft launched its sportsbook in Connecticut.

The subsidiary from Fanatics went live with its retail and online sports betting today, marking the ninth US state it has launched in.

As part of this launch, Fanatics Sportsbook has signed a deal with the Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC) to become its exclusive sports betting partner.

This will operate across both mobile and retail channels, with Fanatics Betting and Gaming upgrading retail locations with new branding and self-service betting kiosks supplied by Suzohapp.

The sportsbook will also be the official odds provider for all CT Lottery sports betting retail kiosks, covering all major sports including basketball, hockey, baseball, martial arts and others.

Sports betting markets will be managed in-house by Fanatics Betting and Gaming in collaboration with outside suppliers.

The soft launch will include altered hours of operation for the first week, as well as a limit of 2,000 customers for its online platform.

Fanatics anticipates the full launch to go live on 18 December 2023.

The Fanatics Sportsbook also allows customers to receive FanCash through its loyalty programme, which can be used on bonus bets or merchandise through the Fanatics website.

Through its partnership with Genius Sports, the Fanatics Sportsbook also offers BetVision, a live sports betting product that lets customers place wagers while live-streaming National Football League (NFL) through the app.

The Fanatics Sportsbook app is built natively for both iOS and Android devices.
