Supplier Octoplay has recently initiated a strategic move to strengthen its position in the UK market. Selected games from Octoplay are now live on Sky Betting & Gaming, an operator owned by industry giantFlutter Entertainment.
Through direct integration with Octoplay's proprietary game server, Sky Betting & Gaming gains access to a range of games.
Ralitsa Georgieva, Octoplay Director of Business Development, said: “Sky Betting and Gaming is an operator with a large and loyal player base that we hope will fall in love with our games. The fact we can partner with such an esteemed operator shows just how far Octoplay has come in a short space of time and proves that we are hitting the mark with the games we are developing and launching.”
Philippa Ayres, Head of Content at Sky Betting and Gaming, added: “Octoplay has quickly become a sought-after game provider and we are delighted to have added a selection of its Smash Games to our casino lobbies. These are highly engaging games that draw players in with their fun themes and action-packed gameplay.
"They also bring differentiation to our offering at a time when players are seeking more non-traditional slot content. This is a really strong partnership for us and Octoplay.”
This announcement follows the recent appointment of Gavin Hamilton as Chairman of Octoplay, pending regulatory approval. Hamilton, former CEO of Red Tiger, brings industry experience to Octoplay as the company secures regulatory approvals and expands its global presence.
Octoplay's strategic moves also include securing a supplier permit from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), allowing access to the Ontario market. Additionally, the company has expanded into the Romanian market through a direct integration with Superbet, introducing various online slot titles into Superbet's gaming portfolio.
