Light & Wonder has been selected to implement its systems solutions for the management of slot floors at Harry Reid International Airport.
The decision comes as part of a strategic move to improve the gaming experience across multiple terminals within the airport.
The deployment of Light & Wonder's systems will see the replacement of the current slot floor management solution, covering more than 1,100 slot machines.
Additionally, Light & Wonder will provide managed services to support the IT operations of Michael J Gaughan Airport Slot Concession, including infrastructure management and 24/7 technical support aimed at minimising downtime.
Jon Wolfe, Light & Wonder President of Global Systems and Service, stated: "Our systems solution is designed to elevate casino hospitality and improve customer service to deliver an unparalleled level of player satisfaction."
Patricia Ross, Michael Gaughan’s Airport Slot Concession GM, noted: “Choosing Light & Wonder as our systems provider was a decision rooted in their next-level customer support. Its commitment to excellence extends beyond leading-edge technology and supports our goal of delivering an exceptional player experience.”
The agreement marks a milestone for Light & Wonder as its technology will now be integrated into the slot floor at one of the busiest airports in the United States.
In other news, Light & Wonder announced an exclusivity agreement with Crucible Gaming, a UK-based studio specialising in content design and development services. This partnership aims to expand Light & Wonder's content offerings, with Crucible Gaming developing five exclusive titles for the platform.
This collaboration is part of Light & Wonder's broader strategy to diversify its gaming content and market presence, alongside agreements with other industry players such as Everi Digital, 1X2 Network and bet365.
