BetMGM (the UK arm) has announced that it is set to sponsor the County Hurdle on Gold Cup Day at the upcoming Cheltenham Festival next week.

Gold Cup Day is viewed as the most prestigious day in the National Hunt calendar and BetMGM’s first Cheltenham Festival will see it take on title sponsorship of the second race on that day.

This is the start of a long-term agreement with the Jockey Club for BetMGM, which will see it take on title sponsors of other key National Hunt races throughout the racing calendar. This is in addition to other title racedays sponsorships across Jockey Club-owned racecourses.

BetMGM is not new to the horseracing arena, with a recent example being back in January, when the sports betting operator was announced as title sponsor for Ascot’s Clarence House Chase Raceday

Ahead of Cheltenham, BetMGM has a number of offers, including a welcome offer, money back offer, and plenty of other promotions (particularly for new customers).

BetMGM UK Director Sam Behar said: "We are thrilled to sponsor the County Hurdle. This is the brand’s first Festival and we’ve marked it in the best possible way. We’re dedicated to providing an entertaining betting experience for racing fans across the country, and have undoubtedly gone the extra mile in giving customers market-leading offers.”

Yesterday, LeoVegas’ Chief Commerical Officer (CCO) Chris Welch took to Linkedln to share his delight, after BetMGM’s sports betting and casino app reached the top spot in the UK for iPhone free sports apps.
